How our Program Lead Zach got into Cornell University
My name is Zacharia Zidi and I currently go to Cornell University. Cornell, like most universities, aims to accept a wide array of well-rounded applicants. I made sure to take a variety of challenging courses in high school, both AP and IB. Aside from academics, I founded a club at my high school. The TED-Ed Club and was able to invest myself into interesting research that also helped me have more direction when choosing my major. I also volunteered in my community, both at the local animal shelter and by tutoring local students. However, It’s important to emphasize quality, and not just sheer quantity. Genuine interests and instilling a strict work ethic is key. I was fortunate enough to be accepted and currently plan to graduate next school year!
