Founder and CEO (“Camp Executive Officer”)
Danny, a Dartmouth and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business MBA graduate, is the founder of Ivy Camps USA. With over 20 years of experience in building and advising educational operations across the world, Danny is one of America’s most respected and recognized supplemental education administrators. He was awarded ‘The 2013 Business of the Year’ and ‘The 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year’ by the Aspen Chamber of Commerce due to the positive impact he and Ivy Camps continues to have on children’s’ lives. He is passionate about connecting kids around the world to learn about different cultures while also cultivating soft skills such as leadership, problem solving, and above all else: self-discovery.
Daniela, an industrial engineer with an INSEAD MBA is a serial entrepreneur within the education industry. She joined Ivy Camps in 2021 after several years with management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, with specialization in transformations, operational efficiency, organizational design, and change management. Originally from Costa Rica, she has lived in six countries across four continents. She is passionate about the power of education and mentorship, believing they are the best tools to create a better world.
Chief Operating Officer
Nourjannah is a graduate of Georgetown University where she studied Justice and Peace Studies. She is now in her Masters program at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business where she is earning her degree in Management. Nourjannah started out with Ivy Camps USA as a Program Lead in Shanghai, China, where she taught Performing Arts. She then went on to become an Assistant Director in Singapore and then the Director in Dubai. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Ivy Camps USA. Nourjannah is passionate about educational accessibility around the world and enjoys being part of a tangible change that provides quality educational opportunities globally. She also enjoys working with top-tier college students as they have fun with our campers, work with other Ivy Camps USA staff, and explore new environments around the world.
Director of Curriculum
Meredith is a Wake Forest and American University graduate who is currently attending Harvard University to further her knowledge in the field of education. Meredith co-founded RAISE Programs, which is an organization focused on bringing research-based, engaging resources to parents in order to help them engage with their children. She is a former elementary school teacher, and has years of experience creating curriculum that kids love. Meredith strongly believes that we need to prepare kids for an unknown future by giving them ownership and helping them enjoy what they are doing.
Leader of Fun
Trent holds his BA in communications and has over 25 years working in the camp and industry in various positions and with over 10 different organizations. He has developed and directed 2 different startup camps and created numerous activities across a wide variety of subjects over the course of his career. He also has provided consulting on activity development and expansion for summer camps and individual coaching on how to incorporate play into practice and learning. His creativity is seen all across the US with activities that he has created becoming a mainstay at many camps. At a camp he worked with 20 years ago, they still have an entire genre of activities called “Trenting” that encompasses any fun and creative activity that counselors create during camp. He currently lives in Idaho with his pets who help him in his work with Ivy Camps.
Amber is a graduate of Lasell University with a BA in Graphic Design. With marketing and social media management experience. She is passionate about creating visual solutions while constantly learning and growing with the ever changing world of design. From her very first job as an assistant dance instructor, to camp counseling, and working as an art teacher, she has always encouraged her students to experiment and follow their own creative path. Amber values education and the power of teaching, and is so excited to combine both her love of design and working with kids as a part of the Ivy Camps USA team.
Director of Marketing
Dani was able to capitalize on her passion for academics at the University of Pennsylvania by double majoring in English and History. She focused much of her post-college attention on learning about different cultures and people through the professional lens of advertising and brand consulting. Dani’s drive to build and operate summer camps runs deep in her familial roots as her grandparents built one of America’s most respected all girls summer camps in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts called Camp Danbee. In following tradition, Dani now enjoys the thrill of perfecting and overseeing international summer camp operations in unique settings and is moved by the opportunity to make a positive impact with children throughout the world.
Assistant Director of Operations
Jack is a senior at Cornell University, majoring in chemistry with intentions to head off to grad school for a master’s in education. He absolutely loves working with kids and has experience in both in-person and online tutoring; he was a Program Lead at Ivy Camps USA, specializing in performing arts and creative expression, and he now takes pride in cultivating the next cohort of excellent Program Leads and helping to provide stellar camps for kids all around the world. His hopes are that he can help as many kids have as much fun as they can; if you see him doing a cheer, join in!
Assistant Director of Global Partnerships
Lizbeth currently attends the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business where she is concentrating in Marketing and Management with a minor in Latin American Latino Studies. Lizbeth initially joined us as a Program Lead for the Leaders of Tomorrow track during the Summer of 2020. She is now the Assistant Director of Global Partnerships for Ivy Camps USA. Lizbeth's passion for education and diversity drives her to work hard in expanding the Ivy Camps family and creating an impact in our camper's lives. She is extremely excited to continue to meet and learn with children from across the world.
Assistant Director of Marketing & Development
Hannah is a senior at Johns Hopkins University studying Medicine, Science, and the Humanities. Hannah first joined us as a Program Lead in the Summer of 2020. She now works as our Assistant Director of Marketing & Development where she works to help with our supplemental programs, social media, and technological systems. Hannah is passionate about finding innovative (and fun!) ways to connect people and accomplish tasks. She is very excited to contribute to spreading the word about Ivy Camps USA all around the world, and to help students find new ways to connect, learn, and have fun!
