  • Calling all future veterinarians, marine biologists, wildlife experts, paleontologists, and animal extraordinaires! This exciting 15-week course will take your student on a tour of animals, past and present, around the world
  • Along their global journey, students will:
    • Explore basic biology concepts
    • Learn about species identification
    • Understand human/animal relationships
    • Develop a historical understanding of the similarities and differences between the animals of the present and prehistoric times
    • Learn about the different periods of history and what species existed within them such as the tyrannosaurus rex, turtles, giraffes, and more
    • Build research and presentation skills in an applied, practical project 
  • Course Format: 
    • Each day of instruction will last 75 minutes (1.25 hours) 
    • Each day of instruction will occur once per week, beginning on the day chosen, on the same day every week for 15 weeks
    • The curriculum is designed for each age group and adjusted to the group's developmental level
  • Final Project: an informational presentation on their favorite animal. In this presentation, students will discuss the various topics that we learned and relate them back to their animal of choice.
  • Skills Developed: research, global awareness, communication, public speaking
